eVTOL | electric Vertical TakeOff & Landing. An aircraft that does not need a runway to takeoff or land, it operate like a helicopter though with electric power instead of fossil-fuel piston- or turbine engines. |
eSTOL | electric Short TakeOff & Landing. An aircraft that need just a very short runway of a few hundred meters, it operate like an airplane though with electric power instead of fossil-fuel piston- or turbine engines. |
eCTOL | electric Conventional TakeOff & Landing. An aircraft that need a normal size runway, it operate like a normal airplane though with electric power instead of fossil-fuel piston- or turbine engines. |
FAA | Federal Aviation Administration. USA aviation authorities. |
ICE | Internal Combustion Engine. The type of engine that convert fuel into energy and heat by burning fuel, i.e. piston, jet, rocket engines etc. |
MaaS | Mobility as a Service. The concept of uniting all kinds mode of transportation by land, sea and air into one booking platform, giving the customer the choices and power what and how one wants to travel. |

RAM | Regional Air Mobility. Covers the distances from 50-500 miles like city-to-city. |
SWB | Solar + Wind + Battery. The energy production concept using a combination of solar cells, wind mills and storage using batteries, that is predicted to be the cheapest way in the nearby future. |
TAM | Total Addressable Market. Meaning the worlds total value of a certain type of business, for example AAM. |
UAM | Urban Air Mobility. Covers the distances up to 50 miles like city centre out to its urban areas. |
